Perché, in uno stesso ambiente ostile, una specie di pianta sopravvive e un’altra, assai simile, no? Merito della biodiversità. Oggi parteciperete a una vera e propria investigazione all'insegna della biodiversità attraverso un approccio interdisciplinare che usa tre tecnologie: l'imaging, la real-time PCR quantitativa e la cromatografia-spettrometria di massa. Non fatevi spaventare dai nomi: saranno tutte e tre adattate in modo da essere perfettamente alla vostra portata. Svolgerete così un’indagine ecologica per studiare quali meccanismi vengono attivati da un organismo vegetale in risposta a uno stimolo ambientale, integrando poi i diversi risultati tra loro e scoprendo come uno studio scientifico multidisciplinare sia in grado di evidenziare le cause del diverso comportamento degli organismi considerati.
