Felicitas Carrique

Felicitas Carrique is a product manager and leader navigating the intersection of journalism, tech, and media business models. She is currently the Executive Director of the News Product Alliance, a community of support and practice for news product professionals and product thinkers working together toward a more sustainable and ethical future for the news industry. For her leadership, she was featured as ""One to Watch"" in the News Industry by Amy Webb’s Future Today Institute annual Tech Trends Report. In her previous role as the Innovation Director at SembraMedia, she worked with news organizations across Latin America, Spain, and the United States to promote innovation. She led product design and systems development for the organization. She was also the lead analyst on the recent “Inflection Point International” report published by SembraMedia, which analyzed the innovations, challenges, and threats facing news entrepreneurs across Latin America, Africa, and Southeast Asia. Felicitas is also a Professor and guest lecturer in several universities, including Universidad Católica Argentina, where she co-created the first news product class in Latin America. She has led workshops about news product management and journalism business models for media-support organizations like the Google News Initiative, CUNY J+, and the Missouri School of Journalism.

Michaël Jarjour is a journalist-turned-product-leader with 10+ years of experience in legacy organizations and startups, a deep passion for journalism, and tons of optimism about its future. Michaël currently works in Product Operations at The Financial Times.

Lucy Kueng

Lucy Kueng is Senior Research Associate at the Reuters Institute, Oxford University, Jury Member of the Media Forward Fund, Trustee of the Bonn Institute, and Non-Executive Board Member of the NZZ Media Group, and formerly of SRG and VIZRT. She is an expert on strategy, innovation and leadership and focuses on successful responses to tech transitions. As a strategic advisor, Lucy works with leading companies worldwide including the BBC, CNN, SVT, Schibsted, NRK, Google and Meta. She keynotes frequently at international conferences and is the author of numerous books including Hearts and Minds: Harnessing Leadership, Culture and Talent to Really Go Digital, Going Digital, Innovators in Digital News, Strategic Management in the Media, and Inside the BBC and CNN. She holds a PhD and Habilitation from the University of St Gallen and an MBA from City Business School/Ashridge.

Anita Zielina
Anita Zielina

Anita Zielina is an experienced digital media executive, strategic advisor and board member with a focus on digital transformation, modern leadership and management, and product and business strategy. She is the founder and CEO of Better Leaders Lab, a Do-and-Think Tank for good leadership and smart management that acts as a boutique consultancy firm and leadership development hub. Anita is an Executive in Residence at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY in NYC and serves as a non-executive board member at the Austrian Public Broadcaster (ORF), as well as the News Product Alliance (NPA). She holds an Executive MBA from INSEAD and a Masters in Law from the University of Vienna and is an alumna of the JSK Journalism Fellowship at Stanford University and the Reuters Institute Visiting Fellowship at the University of Oxford.
