Il fotografo Giulio Cerocchi è presente sulla scena fotografica milanese sin dagli anni Settanta e ha lavorato con un approccio sperimentale verso la fotografia ibridata e la terza dimensione, in tempi non sospetti e con sguardo orientato al futuro. Nella sua monografia – che racconta cinquant'anni di lavoro e dedizione autoriale – è narrato il percorso di Cerocchi proprio inteso “fra guerra e pace”, dove la prima è la battaglia interiore innata negli sperimentatori, e la seconda è la conquista di un posto nel mondo fotografico quando finalmente la contemporaneità ha riconosciuto il suo valore autoriale e avanguardistico. L'incontro avrà l'obiettivo di raccontare il volume e, di conseguenza, il percorso che ha condotto dell’artista milanese a tale completa e ben strutturata pubblicazione, passando anche per un’esperienza espositiva realizzata presso il Teatro Parenti di Milano. Il libro è stato ammesso a concorrere al Premio Fedrigoni 2025.
