Ange Adihe Kasongo

Ange Adihe Kasongo is a journalist, author and trainer. The founder and executive director of Balobaki Check, an award-winning fact-checking, training and media literacy organization launched in 2022 in the Democratic Republic of Congo, she is also co-author of the investigation into sexual abuse during the Ebola response in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), published by the Thomson Reuters Foundation in 2021. Ange worked for Agence France-Presse as a journalist in charge of fact-checking in the DRC between 2019 and 2020. Ange is the author of a book on disinformation and democracy during the election period in Congo, published in Paris by L'Harmattan.

Ahmad Primo
Ahmad Primo

Ahmad Primo is a Syrian fact-checker with extensive experience in journalism since 2008. He is the founder and Executive Director of Verify Platform, an independent and unbiased platform specialized in fact-checking established in Syria in early 2016 to counter the spread of mis/disinformation. Ahmad studied programming and web development in Syria, co-authored the book Verify, Your Handbook for Verification Methods and Countering Disinformation in Clash Zones, which was released in March 2022.

Dmytro Raiskyi is the Director of Strategic Communications and Government Affairs at PR Army, a Ukrainian NGO working to counter Russian hybrid warfare and advocate for victims of war crimes. He leads PR Army’s international advocacy and government relations, shaping global campaigns that influence sanctions, accountability mechanisms, and foreign policy across Europe and North America. His work bridges strategic communications, policy analysis, and diplomacy to strengthen democratic resilience and support Ukraine’s integration into the EU and NATO.

Meera Selva
Meera Selva

Meera Selva is Chief Executive of Internews Europe. She was previously the Deputy Director of the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism and is a co-founder of the Oxford Climate Journalism Network. She is an experienced journalist who has reported from the field across Europe, Asia, and sub-Saharan Africa, including several years at the Associated Press.She is also a senior research associate of the Reuters Institute and an associate fellow of Green Templeton College at the University of Oxford, as well as a member of the Center for Economic Policy Research. Her research focuses on issues of press freedom, diversity in newsrooms, and media sustainability.
