MUSME VISITA GUIDATA al MUSME Scopriremo come, nei secoli, l’arte ha permesso di “vedere” il corpo umano con occhi nuovi: disegni e incisioni anatomici non erano meri “ornamenti” ma strumenti di indagine, mezzi per comprendere il corpo. Nel '600 la medicina ha dovuto affidarsi alla matematica per quantificare, per misurare il corpo, il battito, la pressione, il funzionamento di un apparato. Gli strumenti esposti raccontano una storia di progressiva oggettivazione del sapere medico, dove il rigore numerico ha affiancato l’osservazione clinica, rendendo la diagnosi sempre più precisa. È un altro sconfinamento verso una disciplina che ha trasformato la medicina in Scienza.
Al MUSME la medicina dialoga anche con la botanica: il sapere sulle piante curative, l’osservazione delle specie, le radici e le proprietà terapeutiche costituiscono un capitolo cruciale del sapere medico, un ponte tra la cura popolare e la cura moderna. Oggi, la tecnologia spinge la medicina oltre il corpo: protesi, dispositivi, meccanismi di supporto, ogni strumento è testimonianza di uno sconfinamento che rende possibili soluzioni che ieri sembravano fantascienza. Attraverso questo percorso, il visitatore è invitato a riflettere su come conoscenza e contaminazione disciplinare siano non solo inevitabili, ma indispensabili: solo spingendosi oltre i limiti del conosciuto la medicina infatti è riuscita a diventare una scienza moderna.
