Un viaggio filosofico dentro le macerie del nostro tempo, tra terremoti, catastrofi naturali, immagini mediatiche e fragilità contemporanee. L’incontro affronta il tema della catastrofe come esperienza filosofica, culturale e mediale capace di ridefinire il nostro modo di guardare il mondo. una riflessione allargata al tema della catastrofe come cambio di paradigma, come evento capace di scardinare la nostra quotidianità e il nostro comfort, ma anche di aprire ad una svolta, una soglia fra il passato e un futuro da ricostruire e reinventare.
Partendo dal terremoto di Lisbona del 1755 fino ai più recenti eventi traumatici del presente, l’incontro attraversa il pensiero di filosofi come Voltaire, Rousseau e Kant, intrecciandolo con cinema, fotografia, letteratura, cultura visuale e immaginario pop contemporaneo. Un’indagine che mette al centro non solo la distruzione materiale, ma soprattutto il cambiamento dello sguardo collettivo dopo la catastrofe.
