Guillaume Dye

Guillaume Dye is professor at the Free University of Brussels (ULB). His work focuses primarily on Qur’anic studies and the early history of Islam. Among his publications are: edited with Fabien Nobilio, Figures bibliques en islam (2011), with Isabelle Dépret, Partage du sacré. Transferts, dévotions mixtes, rivalités interconfessionnelles (2012), with Mohammad Ali Amir-Moezzi, éd., Le Coran des historiens (3 vol., 2019, an updated and expanded version of the first volume, entitled Histoire du Coran. Contexte, origine, rédaction, was published in 2022, and subsequently translated into Italian), with Mette Bjeregaard Mortensen, Issac Oliver and Tommaso Tesei, The Study of Islamic Origins. New Perspectives and Contexts (2021), and Early Islam: The Sectarian Milieu of Late Antiquity? (2022).
