Jochen Markett
Jochen Markett is the second co-director of Headliner, a non-profit organization in Germany combining journalism and the performing arts in inspiring live theatre shows.
He is the inventor and moderator of the Reporter Slams. This entertaining stage competition started in Berlin in 2016, and the show is now touring throughout Germany and also abroad. The slams have already taken place in fourteen countries, including Canada and South Africa.
Another stage format for headliners is called JIVE, which allows research to be presented in greater depth.
Jochen is a trained journalist and worked mainly as a media trainer after his studies. Since 2024, however, he has been able to establish live journalism as his main job. He lives in Potsdam.
