Marco Codebò è stato studente del Liceo Classico Giuseppe Mazzini, dell’Università di Genova e dell’Università della Califonia, Santa Barbara, dove ha conseguito un dottorato in Letterature Comparate. Negli Stati Uniti ha insegnato lingua e letteratura italiana all’Università della California, Los Angeles, all’Università di Houston e a Colorado College. A Long Island University è stato professore ordinario di letteratura italiana e letteratura francese. Autore di due monografie sul romanzo moderno, Narrating from the Archive e Novels of Displacement, ha pubblicato anche testi narrativi, fra i quali La Bomba e la Gina, romanzo ambientato al tempo dell’attentato di Piazza Fontana. È attualmente impegnato alla stesura di uno studio critico sulla rappresentazione letteraria delle pratiche di resistenza nell’età contemporanea.
